Today’s Hoda Kotb moans “Oh my God!” after co-host Jenna Bush Hager asks a personal favor from an A-list guest on live television

TODAY star Hoda Kotb groans after hearing her co-host Jenna Bush Hager ask her A-list guest for a personal favor while she’s on the air live.

During Monday’s Today With Hoda & Jenna broadcast, host Hoda, 58, muttered, “Oh my god!” after Jenna, 41, asked her guest Reese Witherspoon, 46, to play matchmaker.

Jenna’s request came after the Oscar-winner complimented her and her co-host and praised the Today With Hoda & Jenna Instagram page.

“I love watching you guys in the morning it makes me so happy and I love your Instagram too,” Reese said.

She went on to explain that she “liked” the Instagram page because she got “little tidbits” of things the moderators were “talking about.”

Reese finally addressed how she learned about the term “winter coating” from them before asking Hoda and Jenna if they “remembered” discussing the topic on the show.

As she recalled, Jenna chimed in, “Winter coating! That’s kind of dating, isn’t it?” as she looked at a stunned Hoda in confirmation, having forgotten exactly what it was.

Hoda added that she believes “winter coating” means being with a person “just for the winter.”

After Hoda and Jenna explained the meaning, Jenna told Reese that she wanted to “set Hoda up” and asked if she knew “anyone”.

As soon as Jenna asked Reese about a possible date for her co-star, Hoda rolled her eyes and groaned.

However, when Reese nodded and said “yes,” Hoda perked up and smiled at the possibility.

SICK TIRED

This episode of the morning show wasn’t the first time Hoda was irritated with Jenna.

Recently, Hoda quickly and angrily corrected Jenna in an awkward live moment during a late January episode.

It got embarrassing when Lidia Bastianich’s two co-moderators received a cooking lesson.

During the episode, Lidia showed Hoda and Jenna her recipe for a fried chicken dinner.

The chef demonstrated a technique in which spices are placed between the skin and flesh of a whole chicken.

As Jenna watched Lidia pour in the lemon zest, she asked, “Does that mean salting?”

Her older co-host hit back: “No girl!”

“The salting is with a big bucket!”

But Jenna quickly got her own back.

Lidia demonstrated how she also stuffed raw onions and lemon slices into the chicken.

“Have you done this before, Hoda?” Jenna asked.

“No, I didn’t,” she replied, embarrassed.

“You didn’t?” asked Lidia, surprised.

“But I’m observing and I’m learning,” Hoda added.

“You’re doing everything wrong!” said Jenna.

In early January, Hoda called out Jenna for having “nothing on” and urged her not to participate in a live fitness segment.
