TODAY’s Carson Daly crashed a segment hosted by Savannah Guthrie by trying to pick up a stuck tray of drinks.
On Thursday’s Today Show, host Savannah Guthrie introduced the outdoor edition of Shop All Day with host Alejandra Ramos.
Alejandra shared some of her summer entertainment must-haves.
Carson Daly was there when he stopped by Savannah and Alejandra and they were talking about the Corckcicle Chillsner to help keep drinks cool.
“Why didn’t they invent this years ago?” Savannah asked. “That is amazing!”
They switched to the Crate and Barrel 90-ounce cha-cha pitcher.
Savannah tried to pick up the pitcher, but found she couldn’t.
“It’s a bit windy out here today, we don’t want the cha-cha launcher flying through the air,” Alejandra said.
“We don’t want the pitcher throwing away Cha Cha-ing!” she joked.
They continued to look at the other items on Alejandra’s list.

Shortly after, Carson Daly interrupted the women when he tumbled the segment.
He walked over and tried to pick up one of the drinks on a tray behind the women.
He looked frustrated as he tried to pick it up.
Savannah exclaimed, “It’s stuck, Carson!”
He walked away with the tray, although he seemed to have picked it up anyway.
“Carson, what’s going on?” Savannah asked once he’d moved on to another section on his own.
Meanwhile, Carson returned to the Today show after taking a brief hiatus from one of his other TV hosting gigs.
The 49-year-old has just returned to the New York morning show after supporting his best friend and co-star Blake Shelton on the West Coast’s recent episode of Voice.
Carson was absent from Today Wednesday as he was still in Los Angeles for the finale of The Voice, which also marked Blake’s big farewell as he departed the show after 23 seasons.
On Thursday, he opened up about the big farewell episode while hosting the morning show’s PopStart pop culture segment.
The host couldn’t help but throw a few sarcastic digs at his best friend Blake along the way.
Right off the bat, he sarcastically joked, “We’re starting today with Blake Shelton.” More with Blake? Don’t you have enough press, cowboy?!”
He said, “And just like every other coach, like every other great American athlete, we commemorate this great moment when it’s time to walk out of the game, throw in the towel, pack it up and call it a day.”
“Buddy, it’s time to retire the Blake Shelton denim jacket.”
Then the camera panned to his jacket hanging on the wall with his name “The Voice” written on it and the seasons he had won.
After the clip played, Carson came back with even more brutal jabs, saying, “He’s so old that at that moment he kept saying to me, ‘What? Where is it? I can not see it.’ He couldn’t see it!”
To continue the teasing, Carson told his Today co-hosts that Blake was the singing show’s goat, “but not the greatest ever, more like the goat, the animal.”
Hoda Kotb told Carson that she knows he likes to “joke” about Blake, but she also knows they have such a great friendship.
She mentioned her co-star’s touching Instagram tribute to the retired voice coach.
Alongside a slew of photos with Blake, Carson wrote on the morning of the finale: “Today is just going to be weird! It can not be said otherwise.”
“For over 12 years I’ve been watching the cowboy do his thing on @nbcthevoice and we’ve been laughing and having fun literally the entire time.
“Thanks buddy! Enjoy your retirement in the red chair, you deserve it!”
“Now let’s go have a drink! (Bring some ice cream from your room, they never gave me any 😂) #OneMoreShow.”
The season 23 finale of Voice began with tribute after tribute to 46-year-old Blake.
Carson led sections reflecting on the musician’s victories, the show that brought him and his wife Gwen Stefani together, and more.
In between, viewers saw the finalists perform alongside their respective coaches and have several special guest appearances.
