Today’s Al Roker shocks fans by howling like a wolf live on air in an interview with the TV star

TODAY Al Roker has surprised viewers after howling like a wolf while interviewing a famous actor on live TV.
The 68-year-old made the bizarre move on Thursday during the third hour of the show.

Al met with his co-hosts Sheinelle Jones, 44, Craig Melvin, 43, and Dylan Dreyer, 41, with Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey.
The actor’s appearance was set to promote his new film, Teen Wolf: The Movie, six years after the USA show ended.
Al was apparently excited to interview Tyler, who played a werewolf during the six-season drama series.
While preparing a clip for the film, the meteorologist himself climbed into the character and howled at the camera.

“Well, the wolves are back in Teen Wolf: The Movie,” Al said before making the less-than-feral tone.
He chuckled at his actions before continuing the clip.
The TV personality has shown her goofy side more since returning to the show following her health crisis.
Al was out of work for months after suffering from blood clots in his legs and lungs, which took him to the hospital.

He soon recovered and returned to the Today Show in the first week of January.
AS escapades
And he was quite the character on set, joking around with his co-hosts.
One incident occurred earlier this week when the presenters announced Al would be appearing in an upcoming issue of People magazine.
They shared a sneak peek at the Valentine’s Day edition with longtime weatherman and his wife Deborah Roberts, 62.
“Look at it. It has great photos in it,” said co-host Carson Daly of the feature, titled To Love & To Cherish.
“There’s Al and his beautiful wife, Deborah,” pointed out Carson, 49.
He continued, speaking to Al, “This is the Valentine’s Day special, your wife describes this photo of your wedding in New York as running into the future. How do you remember this picture, Al?”
Al quickly replied, “Well, I remember as soon as I was done, they put some ropes on me and I floated over the Thanksgiving Day Parade.”
His comment about his weight in the photo prompted co-host Savannah Guthrie to exclaim, “Oh, stop it!” as she playfully slapped him on the shoulder with a rolled-up poster.
“It was a beautiful moment,” Savannah, 51, said while Al laughed at his joke.
“It was Deborah’s idea,” he said, getting serious. “It was at Essex House, down Central Park South, and we ran down, and it was just a moment for us.”
“It’s a great love story,” Savannah said of the photo.
The couple laughed together and continued the show.
SHADING CO HOSTS
Meanwhile, Al has also shown a tougher side to his personality as he has shadowed his co-hosts on multiple occasions.
Most recently, he slammed fellow panelist Craig for punching him in a Frasier quote in a live moment.

Things also heated up between the couple and Savannah when they faced off in a bitter NFL rivalry over which color should the Empire State Building be lit.
He also taunted Sheinelle when she struggled to read the teleprompter and laughed at his co-host’s mistake.
