On Sunday, four football teams competed to see which two would land in the Super Bowl on February 12th.

In the end, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs won and go head-to-head in the big game.

An ABC news correspondent reported that the Empire State Building lit up red and yellow and then green and white to honor the two winning teams.

Considering Philadelphia has beaten the New York Giants in every game this season, it was shocking to some fans to see New York honoring that team.

“Fans were in disbelief that the iconic New York City landmark would make Giants fans like this, but I know Savannah was delighted,” she said.

Savannah, Craig and Hoda Kotb were laughing at the desk.

“Well you know what?” Said Savannah. “That’s the definition of ‘too soon’.”

“It’s a little raw, Empire State Building.”

‘YOU DIED FOR ME!’

Savannah and Craig had a rivalry on live television as she cheered for Philadelphia and Craig for Kansas City.

They held up the shirts of the opposing teams.

“Well, I texted Craig last night,” Savannah said.

“I said, ‘If the Chiefs win, then Dell, his son, who loves [Patrick] Mahomes can bet on Vale and Charlie, so let’s make it interesting, start a little bet.”

“Oh, I love that!” Said Hoda.

They don’t know what they’re betting yet, but Craig said, “No money.”

“A donut or something. I don’t know,” Savannah interjected.

“Cool. Well, congratulations to you both,” Hoda said.

After talking a bit more about the teams, Savannah pointed out that Hoda wore red, so she needed Al on her team.

Al stood by the weather board and said listlessly, “Yeah.

The Today hosts erupted when the meteorologist looked into the camera and said, “Indeed, Empire State Building, you’re dead to me!”

“I’m moving to the Chrysler Building. I’m joking. I’m joking.”

“But I’m very happy for you,” he finished.

HAVE A BALL

Savannah rushed back to the studio to be on Monday’s morning show after spending the day in Philadelphia for the game.

On Instagram, she gave her fans a rare glimpse into her family.

Taking to social media, the 51-year-old shared some snaps from her day at Lincoln Financial Field football stadium.

The TV star, her husband Michael Feldman and their two children Vale and Charles dressed in support of the Philadelphia Eagles as they played against the San Francisco 49ers.

In the photo, Savannah wore a soccer jersey with a matching wool hat and kept warm in a black down coat and black ankle boots.

Michael, 54, also wore a leotard – personalized with his last name – and paired it with blue jeans as he posed for photos with his son and daughter.

Vale, eight, and Charles, six, also wore football shirts and seemed very excited to be at the game.

Savannah shared a photo of a box of bright green donuts that her kids later saw dug into.

The family seemed to have the best seats in the house as they watched the game from a private box, and Savannah even shared a short video of Charles cheering on the players.
