Today’s Al Roker hits back and defends his ‘decisions’ after the troll told the presenter he’s ‘abandoning’ his 21-year-old son Nick.

TODAY star Al Roker appeared to put haters right after responding to criticism of the way he’s raising his son Nick.
The delicious breakfast Al prepared for Nick earned him some disparaging comments from some critics.
A new snap Al, 68, recently uploaded to Instagram shows the delicious-looking meal he cooked for Nick, 20, on a plate.
Crispy rashers of bacon, fluffy eggs and a flaky croissant filled the bowl that appeared to be set on a countertop.
Next to the plate was a cup filled with what appeared to be orange juice.
“Cheese omelette, bacon and a croissant for Nick this morning after his morning run,” the NBC personality wrote.

Some fans found Al’s act of love commendable, while others believed she was a future obstacle for Nick.
“You may think his midlife crisis diet failed,” wrote one fan.
The person continued, “Maybe a no-cheese scrambled egg, whole wheat toast, and sliced tomatoes? Just a thought.”
“Eating habits are difficult to change. I come from a girl who grew up on cookies and gravy, ham and beans, and buttery cornbread.”

Defending him and his son, the meteorologist replied: “Thanks for the concern. He had just come back from a 3 mile run.”
Al continued, “He then completed a :30 peloton. Works as a groundsman at a local ballpark, comes home, goes for another run, and eats well at lunch and dinner.”
“He makes great decisions.”
Father Son Time
Al not only seems to enjoy cooking for Nick, but also enjoys spending time with him.
Al smiled alongside his son Nick in the captured father-son moment, which was uploaded to the weatherman’s Instagram account late last month.
Al took the selfie and appeared to put his arm out so he could photograph him, 20-year-old Nick, and their dog, Pepper.
The men of the Roker family sat at a table in the backyard of their New York City townhouse.
Behind it were bright green plants that made for a colorful backdrop.
Lamps attached to the posts of the wooden fence in their back yard illuminated the entire patio.
The corner of her outdoor table made it into the photo, along with some of the food on it.
“The weather has finally turned and it was perfect for having lunch in the backyard with my boy Nick. Pepper is waiting for some food to drop,” Al captioned.
Fans showered Al with admiration for his bond with his son.
“Nothing compares to the time we spend with our kids…always something nice!” praised one fan.
DYNAMIC DUO
The pair cooked meals together in the kitchen in new photos shared by Al’s wife, Deborah Roberts, 62, in January.
Fans begged the meteorologist to resume his cooking videos after his recovery.
Deborah posted a photo of her husband tending to dinner on the stove.
A piece of meat with fresh herbs was frying in the pan as Al leaned forward and prepared to serve.
The Today star focused on cooking while wearing a casual black shirt.
“Both men in the kitchen today,” Deborah wrote over the photo.
She also posted a picture of her son Nick grinding peppers over a fresh salad.
Deborah then shared a close-up photo of the healthy bowl with assorted leaves, fresh chili peppers and crumbled cheese.

“Well done Wednesday! Beautiful culinary work,” wrote the proud mom.
“We will miss your skills when you go back to college,” she said of the Vassar student.
