Today’s Al Roker has a surprise encounter on a weekend stroll as fans insist the duo are ‘targets’.

TODAY star Al Roker has revealed he had a surprise encounter during his outdoor stroll on Sunday.
The 69-year-old meteorologist told fans in a new video he shared of the moment: “You never know who you might run into.”
Al, who is a member of his morning show’s popular touring show Start Today, often shares videos and photos of himself hitting the sidewalk.
His wife, Deborah Roberts, is happy to do the same on her own social media — although she’d rather run than walk.
It seemed like the husband and wife had the same idea on Sunday when they both decided to get some exercise in the fresh air.
However, instead of doing it together, they each set out independently, allowing them to proceed at their own pace.

While Al was recording a message from his walk to fans, he chanced upon Deborah walking towards him from the opposite direction.
The Today presenter told his followers: “Well, you never know who you might run into on a country lane on a Sunday morning.”
He then said to Deb as she walked by and gave him a high five, “Hey, nice to see you! Boo-bye!”
Turning his attention back to his fans, Al continued, “Deborah Roberts moves at the speed of light.

“Anyway, I hope you’re having a nice Sunday. Take your steps.
“We have big things coming up for Start Today in September. I’ll tell you all about what’s coming up soon.”
In the caption, Al gushed that “meeting @debrobertsabc and getting a #highfive is a great way to spend a #Sunday.”
Fans couldn’t get enough of it, praising the couple in the comments section.
One adoring follower stressed, “The Rokers are GOALS!”
A second told the meteorologist: “You are a blindingly radiant light Al.
“Your positivity, attitude and authenticity are greatly appreciated here in Northern Virginia. Bottom up!!”
A third wrote: “Love watching you two post about your walks/runs!!!!”
“You two are so adorable,” said a fourth, while another fan commented, “You two are amazing.” See you tomorrow morning.”

Al is still recovering from major knee surgery.
He underwent knee replacement surgery in May and has been reporting on his healing progress ever since.
