Today, guest Mindy Kaling asks Hoda Kotb, “How dare you?” twice after the host asked shocking questions
MINDY Kaling has challenged tonight’s Hoda Kotb after the host asked shocking questions.
The actress quipped, “How dare you?” to Hoda’s questions.

On Monday, Savannah Guthrie, 51, and Hoda, 59, welcomed Mindy, 44, to the show to talk about her book publishing.
She helps authors of color publish their books.
After Savannah asked Mindy about romance in her life, Hoda asked a question that shocked her.
“Were you a little nerdy in high school?” What was your mood?” She asked.
“How dare you?” Mindy joked. “How dare you even ask the question?”
But she had a smile on her face when she said it.
“I speak as a unit,” Hoda interjected.
“I was popular and cool,” Mindy joked.

“No, yeah, I was a big nerd, so books were my refuge. Well, books were – I don’t think you guys were nerdy, but-.”
Savannah and Hoda both said they were.
“Didn’t go to prom.”
Savannah raised her hand and said she wasn’t going to prom.
Then Hoda raised her hand and said the same thing.
“Really?” Mindy asked.
“Did you go to prom?” Savannah asked Mindy.
“I went to prom,” the actress confirmed.
“Well then we beat you in the nerd department,” Savannah said.
“I didn’t know I was going to prank Hoda and Savannah this morning by saying I went to prom,” Mindy joked.
“You left?” Hoda asked.
“I went to prom. I went to junior prom and senior prom,” Mindy said.
“Wait, were you asked or did you ask him?” Hoda asked.
Once again Mindy joked, “How dare you?”
Hoda explained that she and Savannah were only allowed to go to prom if they asked someone out.
However, Mindy confirmed that she was asked to do both.
“You were really cool,” Hoda joked.
“I love this turnaround that’s happened where I kind of have a lot of status here,” Mindy said.
They then continued to talk about Mindy’s book publishing company and her children.

Mindy isn’t the only celebrity who has shaded Hoda on Today lately.
Last month, Hoda and Craig Melvin issued a stern warning to Ryan Seacrest on live television.

Ryan said he is pleased Vanna White is returning to Wheel of Fortune with a new contract extension.
Vanna extended her contract for two years and will remain on board after host Pat Sajak leaves the game show in 2024.
“Vanna, please tell me what to do,” Ryan joked at the end of the preview.
Instead, it was the Today anchors who gave him advice.
“It’s kind of like Vanna’s show that Ryan is on,” Hoda joked.
“She IS Wheel of Fortune,” Craig agreed.
“He’s the first to say that,” Willie said.
“Don’t touch the show,” Craig warned as Willie confirmed Ryan didn’t plan to make “sweeping changes.”
