Al, 68, reposted Courtney’s video of her preparing the delicious-looking dish on Instagram on Wednesday.
The presenter – who is a talented chef himself – captioned it: “Ooooooo. Yummy” and tagged Courtney.
The 36-year-old, who is a recipe developer and often shares her dishes on social media, replied with a love heart emoji: “Thank you Padre”.
Fans were quick to suggest that Al team up with Today show co-host Dylan Dreyer for a cooking segment.

One commented, “Dylan needs to start a new segment called ‘Cooking with Al’.”
Another gushed, “You and Courtney need your own show!”
Others praised the delicious food, noting, “Oh my god! That is expensive! Looks amazing!” and “This looks so good I want to do it right now!”
Al shares Courtney with his ex-wife, Alice Bell. He is also father to daughter Leila, 24, and son Nick, 20, with wife Deborah Roberts.

The TV presenter recently returned to the Today Show after struggling with a series of health issues.
He was hospitalized twice last year for blood clots in his legs and lungs.
The beloved meteorologist was absent from the morning show for almost two months.
He tried to regain weight and strength after his hospital stays.
When Al finally returned to the morning show in early January, Deborah was also back working on ABC’s newsroom.
He confessed: “Look, I had two complicated things. I had blood clots which they think appeared after I had COVID in September.
“And then I had this internal bleeding, I lost half my blood. They were trying to find out where it was.”
Deborah’s husband joked that he “went in for one surgery” and “got four for free.”
AS A RETURN
Al was applauded by his co-hosts as he made his comeback on the Today Show.
Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and Craig Melvin clapped and cheered him after he delivered his first weather report of the year.
Savannah and Hoda started the show by taking Al to the set and hugging him.
Hoda was in tears as Al said, “It’s great to be back,” and held her hands.
He jokingly added, “And to wear pants!”
The fans were just as emotional as the hosts and took to Twitter to express their joy.

“Look at Al!! Makes the weather like it never left!!! Thank you for keeping your vows to your King Queen Deborah!! wrote fan.
“Everything is fine again. Welcome home Al! We missed you so much,” said another.
