Times Square Panic – ‘Shaft Blast’ Has People Running Through NYC Landmark Amid Bomb Scares – Area Evacuated
A loud bang was heard in Times Square on Sunday night, causing hundreds of people to run through the NYC landmark amid fears of a possible bomb.
The area around 43rd Street and Broadway was closed by the NYPD while they investigated the situation.

It is believed to be a shaft explosion but there is no confirmation yet.
Video shared on social media shows dozens of people running through the busy streets. Many ask what the loud noise is as they drive past cars.
Others said they heard the loud explosion but had no idea what it was.
