Now fans want to know what happened to them and why the former friends are now arguing.
What happened between Trisha Paytas and David Dobrik?
After beginning a relationship with Jason Nash, Paytas became a recurring face on Vlog Squad.
During this time, they also struck up a friendship with Dobrik, but fans began to worry after he repeatedly called her a slut and a whore.
He even went so far as to ask her about her sex history, Insider notes.
Due to Dokbrik’s jokes and excessive pranks, the tension between them grew, eventually leading to the end of their friendship.
Some of his pranks included sneaking into Nash’s car to scare her and hiding in the bathroom of her hotel room while vacationing in Puerto Rico.
After the couple split in 2019, Paytas began opening up about her time on Vlog Squad, even claiming Nash dumped her because Dobrik said so.
“The moment David told him to dump me, I’m fired,” they claimed via Insider.
Before they left the Frenemies podcast and fell out with their co-host Ethan Klein, they also claimed that the narrative surrounding them caused people to discredit their claims.
