Tiger Woods’ amazing £41million Florida home he didn’t know was this big until he ‘put on crutches’ while recovering from accident – The US Sun

TIGER WOODS was at least able to see the funny side as he continued to recover at home after the horrific accident that left him seriously injured last year.
The golf legend, 46, required emergency surgery after suffering a broken leg and broken ankle in a horrific car crash in California.

He has since been recuperating at his amazing £41m estate in the exclusive area of Jupiter Island before making his sensational return to golf at the Masters.
Ahead of the Masters, he revealed in his first press conference since the incident that he was having a hard time adjusting to his massive mansion.
“I built a really nice house, but I didn’t realize how big it was until you started putting on crutches. I’m on the better side, but I still have a long way to go,” Woods joked.
Woods also spoke of the problems he was having getting around.
“It was a lot of hard work,” he told reporters.
“There have been some really tough times just lying there. I was in a hospital bed for three months.
“It’s hard to explain how difficult it was being immobile for three months. I was just looking forward to getting outside, that was a goal of mine.
“I was just looking forward to getting outside. Eventually I got to a point where they could wheel me out and I could feel the sun, that was like a milestone.”
STUNNING PROPERTY
The £41million property is split into two sections, one being a 3,300 sqft residential quarter and the other a 6,400 sqft multi-purpose building.
The latter includes a world-class gym, with the massive space also housing a media room, wine cellar, and elevator.
A glass covered walkway connects the two buildings, there is also a guest house, a garage and a large mooring for his boats.
Dad-of-two Woods can also relax in his own oxygen therapy room or chill out in his basement playroom or private movie theater.
The lavish home was built in 2010 when his divorce from ex-wife Elin Nordegren was finalized.
Now he can enjoy his time there with his girlfriend Erica Herman, who healed the flawed golf genius to make one of the sport’s greatest comebacks of all time.

His mansion is located on Florida’s Jupiter Island — home to just under 900 residents — making it one of the area’s most exclusive neighborhoods.
His restaurant, The Woods, is just around the corner from his luxury home.
Described as a “legendary sports bar experience,” the likes of Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, and Rickie Fowler have dined there.
