LA cops rushed to the scene after receiving calls about a shooting at 12:30 a.m.

The party was advertised on social media, reports CBS.

The first call to the LAPD was from a man who said his friend had been shot, and the line was then disconnected, police said.

When officers arrived at the scene, officers said four victims were “unconscious and not breathing.”

The four suffered “multiple gunshot wounds,” but officials did not disclose what type or how many firearms were involved.

Police confirmed that a total of six people were shot and three died.

None of their identities have been released to date.

Money Sign Suede signed to Atlanta Records about a year and a half ago, the label confirmed to CBS.

In an Instagram post today, the rapper said: “I just want to come here real quick to offer my condolences on what happened yesterday after that paid show. I am praying for all the people who were hurt and died last night.”

“My condolences and heart go out to all the families of this injury. I didn’t want any of this to happen, I was already home when I got the call.”

“Sorry for a minute to everyone who is fine missing shows… to those who still support me through everything, love you!”

He later reiterated: “Apologies to all families. I have nothing to do with what happened. I’ve been gone a long time, not my show, not my party. It was a paid performance.”

The Sun has reached out to the rapper for further comment.

Los Angeles police officers believe several people opened fire at a building on the 1400 block of South Lorena Street, according to KTLA.

Two people were found dead at the venue where the rapper performed, and a third person was KTLA rushed to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The outlet also reported that the building was manned by security guards who police believe may have returned fire during the shooting.

The LAPD says the initial report identified the three men killed as possibly in their 30s, but other reports say they were in their 20s.

One of the injured was a security guard, LAPD officials confirmed, and detectives believe one of the men killed may also have been a security guard, according to the KTLA.

No arrests have been made so far and police have not identified any suspects.

Neighbors told the Los Angeles Times how they heard the gunshots.

“The gunshots woke us up,” said Patty Calzada, who lives two doors down from the warehouse.

She said she watched the commotion through her security camera, adding that many of the people looked minors and were “yelling and screaming” as they fled.

Another resident told the same newspaper that his wife woke him up after hearing two gunshots: a salvo of 10 shots and then a minute later a round of five shots.

The man, who gave only his first name, Gilbert, said his wife told him that the young people walking down the street looked no more than 16 or 17 years old.

The motive for the shooting is currently unclear and detectives are working to determine if it may be gang related.

Tensions have been tense since the recent spate of shootings across the country, including last month in Buffalo, New York, and Uvalde, Texas, where 19 young children were massacred by 18-year-old Salvator Ramos, who pointed an assault rifle at one elementary school, killing the children and two teachers.

Lawmakers are pushing for stricter gun control, with the House of Representatives passing a tough gun reform bill last week.

Just this afternoon, a bipartisan group of senators, including 10 Republicans, announced an agreement in principle on gun safety legislation.

It includes “needed mental health resources, improves school safety and support for students, and helps ensure dangerous criminals and those identified as mentally ill cannot purchase guns,” the statement said.
