Three people were killed and three others injured in a knife attack in San Jose and Milpitas after a violent car theft in front of the Target store

A SUSPECT has been arrested after a night of deadly violence in California that left several dead.
On Thursday, a man launched a frantic attack in Milpitas and San Jose, stabbing at least three people and hitting three others by a vehicle.
Police have confirmed that at least three victims have died from their injuries and two others are struggling with life-threatening injuries.
The car used to ram some of the victims was stolen by the attacker, police officers said.
According to San Jose Police Department spokesman Steven Aponte, the first attack began at 3:11 p.m. “with a theft car and a knife attack.”
In this first incident, police were called to Kooser Road and Dellwood Way near Blossom Hill Road. A knife victim was found at the scene with life-threatening injuries.
The victim’s car was then stolen and driven to Hillsdale Avenue about two miles away.
At 3:31 p.m., the man stole another vehicle by stabbing the driver and taking the car.
A pedestrian in the parking lot of a Target store was hit by the stolen vehicle.
