A hit and run has killed three men and seriously injured one after a car crashed into a group in Chicago, police say.
Around 5 a.m. Sunday, a car crashed into a group of four men in the Jackson Park Highlands neighborhood of Chicago.
The limousine was moving south when it struck the four victims.
Unconfirmed dash cam footage shared online appears to show several people fighting in the street.
Suddenly, a car comes down the street at high speed, crashing into her and sending her flying through the air.
Police have not said whether the graphic footage is real.
After the accident, some shoes could be seen on the sidewalk, showing how serious the incident was.
Three of them were taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center for treatment.
They were pronounced dead at the hospital, police said.
The other man was taken to Stroger Hospital. He is in serious but stable condition, ABC7 reported.
Police failed to apprehend the suspect after the driver fled the scene.
The identities of the victims and potential suspects have not yet been released.
The Sun reached out to the Chicago Police Department for further updates but received no response as of publication time.
This is at least the third hit and run in Chicago this week.
A cyclist, 55-year-old Pablo Rodriguez, died in a crash around 6:15 a.m. Friday.
The victim was hit by a black SUV or van in the East Side neighborhood, which drove on after hitting him, witnesses said.
A five-year-old boy, Taha Khan, was also killed in a two-car crash on Wednesday.
Khan was “on the road” when he was hit by two cars on Chicago’s Far North Side around 9 p.m.
He was first hit by a red SUV jeep fleeing the scene. He was then hit by a Volvo again, but that driver stayed and attempted to carry out life-saving operations.
