The first shooting occurred around 1:10 p.m. when police were responding to calls about gunfire on Chicago’s west side.

At the scene, emergency services found a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the leg.

The victim was taken to Stroger Hospital in stable condition.

Two hours later, police discovered two teenagers who had been shot dead in East Garfield Park on the west side of town.

Chicago police said a man jumped out of a red vehicle and shot the victims.

The 16-year-old and 19-year-old male victims were transported to Stroger Hospital in stable condition.

Around 5:15 p.m., police discovered a dead man inside a home in Greater Grand Crossing on the south side.

The unknown victim was found with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead on the spot.

Police responded to a deadly shooting in the Chatham neighborhood of the city’s south at 6.30pm.

The male victims, 18 and 25, were standing on a sidewalk when the suspect pulled up in a dark-colored vehicle and opened fire.

The 18-year-old was shot in the abdomen and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he died.

The 25-year-old victim sustained a gunshot wound to the left shoulder and was taken to hospital in good condition.

Later that evening, a 22-year-old man was killed in a South Shore home invasion.

The shooting happened around 2am on Friday, after police said a suspect entered the man’s home through a back door and argued with him.

Police say the intruder opened fire and hit the man multiple times in the chest. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

At least three other victims were injured in shootings across Chicago on Thursday.

No arrests were made in any of the shootings.

QUADRUPLE SHOOT IN PHLLY

Meanwhile, Philadelphia police are investigating an accident they believe may be linked to a shooting that left four people injured.

The shooting took place in the Kensington section around 12.30pm on Friday.

Four people were shot dead, police said, including a 30-year-old man, a 43-year-old man, an 18-year-old woman and a 29-year-old Hispanic man.

All of the victims sustained gunshot wounds to their feet and ankles.

They were all taken to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.

Police found at least thirteen used cartridge cases at the scene.
