Thor Bjornsson shows off brutal black eyes as scars from his fight with Eddie Hall are revealed after winning Game of Thrones

HAFTHOR BJORNSSON was left with a great performance after his grudge match with Eddie Hall.

The Icelandic giant won the World’s Strongest Man award in 2017 during a show in Dubai on Saturday night, which he won by decision.

Bjornsson dropped Hall twice but was also brought to the painting by ‘The Beast’, who left him with a black eye.

Man-Mountain’s friend Larry Wheels shared a picture of the pair on his Instagram story as a teaser for an upcoming interview.

And the area under Bjornsson’s right eye was blue-black from the punishments Hall landed.

The former Game of Thrones star was quick to hand over the props to Hall for his brave effort and ability to punch and kick.

In his post-match interview, he said, “I’ve never been overlooked in training, so he can really punch. He can really punch.”

“He’s not lying! But today, I feel like technique won.”

Hall was annoyed with the judges’ scorecards because he believed he had done enough to get a show of hands.

Bjornsson said: “Understandably, he still seems to be a bit angry. He lost the game so that’s understandable.

“But I’m happy, if he wants a rematch, I’ll have a rematch no matter what. Do you guys want to see a rematch?”

He added: “I went on on behalf of me. If he wants a rematch, I’m fine with that.”

Hall broke his silence on the defeat on Instagram this morning, saying: “You know what, I can treat everything like a man. What it is, it’s boxing.

“At the end of today, I just fought the biggest man on the planet in a boxing match.

“I’d like to see anyone else get the ball and do it.

“It’s been a hell of a ride; I’ve enjoyed it and hopefully there’s a rematch and we can do business again.

“I want to wish everyone out there.. that you stay safe, stay optimistic and you always move forward in life.

“The most important thing is family; this beautiful baby [Hall’s wife] is my rock and no matter what happens, I get to go home to her and the kids. “
