‘This isn’t football’ – Bitter Rodri launches a savage attack on Scotland after his Spanish side lost 2-0 in the Euro qualifier

MANCHESTER CITY star Rodri launched a crushing attack on Scotland after they beat Spain in an epic night at Hampden.
Man United’s Scott McTominay was the hero for Steve Clake’s side in their second straight EURO qualifier.

After his two-goal victorious win against Cyprus, the midfielder picked up another brace as Scotland beat Spain 2-0 in front of a raucous crowd in Hampden on Tuesday.
Rodri, 26, was La Roja captain and struggled to contain his frustration during the post-match interview when he accused the Scots of playing wit.
Speaking to Viaplay, he claimed that the home side’s approach was “a bit of rubbish” as he also blew up the officials.
Rodri raged: “For me it’s a bit of nonsense because it’s always a waste of time. They provoke you. They always fall.
“It’s not football for me. The referee has to participate and he says nothing.
“It’s frustrating because we want to win, because you’re wasting time, you’re wasting time. But they have their guns and we will learn for next time.”
Scot Andy Robertson was booked in the opening stages after a clash with Pedro Porro that caused the Spanish defender to go down and clutch his face.
The visitors then also had to fend off a number of penalty challenges – with the veteran Spanish striker throwing himself on the ground in a fit of rage.

And when Rodri was told that many Scots might believe it was actually Spain who did most of the play and fell to the ground, the star replied: “We always fight but this isn’t about fighting.
“It’s about wasting time, four, five players on the floor. That depends on the referees, not on us.”
However, enthralled fans were quick to react on Twitter after Scotland topped the group with six points from their first two games.
One tweeted: “Rodri. What a bad loser.”
Another wrote: “Rodri – dry your eyes man.”
Another fan commented, “Rodri – ‘they always fall.’ Dry your eyes, buddy. Haha, and the interviewer pulls him up about it.”
While another added: “Rodri is on TV now moaning about us going down too easy too. Said it with a straight face and all.”
Meanwhile, Arsenal fans remain convinced that Rodri will injure two of their players ahead of their Premier League title win.
Rodri started in midfield in Spain’s two Euro 2024 qualifiers and had collisions with Arsenal’s Martin Odegaard and Kieran Tierney.
Tierney was substituted on 76 minutes after a tough tackle in his side’s stunning victory.

Luckily for Arsenal fans, Odegaard watched his game on Saturday but his Norwegian side were thrashed 3-0 by Rodri and co.
Arsenal, currently eight points clear at the top of the table, travel to the Etihad on April 26 for the Cityzens to decide the title.
