Above IMDb, the highest-rated episode of “CSI” was none other than its Season 9 premiere, titled “For Warrick.” The episode, which aired in October 2008, currently holds an average rating score of 9.1 out of 10 on the site, based on nearly 1,100 fan votes.
The episode in question featured the tragic death of the usual Warrick Brown (Gary Dourdan) in the series that followed. Before his death, Brown was accused of killing a mafia boss but was eventually acquitted of all charges. However, Brown’s lucky fate, unfortunately, resulted in a corrupt cop searching for him and fatally wounding him. Brown later dies in Grissom’s (William Petersen) embrace.
