The WWE referee opens up on the best and worst stars to work with, including a wrestler who was an “idiot.”

A FORMER WWE Referee has lifted the lid on the toughest Superstars to work with.
Jack Doan spent more than two decades with the wrestling organization, having joined them as a truck driver in 1991.

He later became a referee and stayed with them through the heyday of the Attitude Era before retiring in 2013.
Doan has worked with the biggest stars to grace the ring including The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker and Triple H.
And he was asked on a podcast last week who was the hardest to work with.
Speaking on SportsKeeda Wrestling’s UnSKripted podcast, he explained, “The hardest thing, I would say, Shawn Michaels in two forms.”

“First as he was going through his days, which he’s very open about, being a jerk and going through times with his addiction.
“He was very difficult to work with in the ring but otherwise he was such a professional that he wanted perfection.
“So he would yell at you in the match if he didn’t feel like you were in the right place or where you needed to be.”
And Doan had some harsh words for Chris Jericho, too.
He said, “Jericho was like that. Jericho was just, you know, they want the best games.
“They work hard, work their ass off. They want to be the best game of the night and the referee can ruin that game.”
But there was one superstar who emerged as the best to work with the former official.
Doan continued, “Probably the best work of all, Undertaker.

“Some of the top guys who you would think are the toughest were actually the best.
“Brock Lesnar, Taker, Kurt Angle, all these guys made it so easy to work in the ring.”
