The world’s ten most valuable footballers revealed with £218m Haaland and five Premier League stars

THE most valuable footballers in the world have been named… with Erling Haaland at the top.

Haaland, 23, is the highest-rated of the five Premier League stars who made it into the top ten.

However, he has to share the top spot with a LaLiga icon.

The transfer fees have continued to rise to insane levels in recent seasons.

But the brainwaves over there CIES football observatory have crunched the numbers to calculate what the top footballers are really worth.

So without further ado, let’s take a look at who CIES ranks in their top ten.

7= Gabriel Martinelli – £130 million

With five players worth £130m, we actually had to include 11 stars.

Arsenal ace Martinelli is highly regarded as he has impressed at the Gunners since joining from Ituano for just £6million.

7= Julian Alvarez – £130m

The Argentinian world champion from Manchester City has it all.

The 23-year-old striker has become Pep Guardiola’s favorite and has started every Premier League game for City this season.

7= Jamal Musiala – £130m

The German star is the one who came to England after representing the Three Lions at youth level before moving to his country of birth.

At just 20 years old, he is already a key player at Bayern Munich and the silky-smooth star still has a lot to offer.

7= Phil Foden – £130m

The homegrown ace is the second Man City player to make the list.

After a somewhat weak year by his standards last time out, Foden has once again become a key player at the Etihad this season.

7= Gavi – £130 million

At just 19 years old, Barcelona homegrown midfielder Gavi is already one of Xavi’s most important players.

However, he suffered a devastating blow at the weekend and was ruled out for the rest of the season with a cruciate ligament injury.

3= Kylian Mbappe – £175m

The French superstar shone in the World Cup final last year but was surprisingly kept out of the top spot.

The 24-year-old is one of the most sought-after players in the world and will no longer have a contract next Year.

3= Bukayo Saka – £175 million

The England winger is the second Arsenal player to feature on this list.

The 22-year-old’s sensational form last season was rewarded with a megabucks new contract that made him the Gunners’ highest-earning player in May.

3= Rodrygo – £175 million

Rodrygo, the first of two great Real Madrid Brazilian wingers on this list, is just 22 years old.

He has scored five goals and provided a further four assists in 17 appearances so far this season and regularly tears fans off their feet.

3= Jew Bellingham – £175 million

English superstar Bellingham is somehow not at the top of this list, despite scoring 13 goals in his first 14 games for Real Madrid.

The 20-year-old is primed to play a key role for England at next year’s Euro 2024.

At the top of the list is Man City striker Erling Haaland.

The Norwegian has scored 69 goals in just 71 games for the Prem champions and is considered one of the best Future Ballon d’Or Winner.

1= Vinicius Jr. – £218 million

Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr. is on a par with Haaland.

The Brazilian has developed into an incredible player at just 23 years old, scoring a total of 23 goals and 21 assists on the wing last season Competitions.
