King of Ink Land King Body Art The Extreme Ink-Ite
Known as Britain’s most tattooed man, the 42-year-old from Birmingham has spent a staggering 1,000 hours in a tattoo chair since he was 16.
King Body Art, formerly known as Matthew Whelan, has more than 90 percent of his body covered in tattoos.
He was inspired after a family vacation in New Zealand, where he was fascinated by the Maori and their tattoo art.
However, King Body Art said being a walking work of art was linked to his falls.
He claimed he was treated differently from his colleagues during his employment, as he was the only person removed from the office when managers came to visit.
The Brit has plans for more modifications, but his current mission is to undergo a blackout tattoo.
This is when much of the tattooed area is completely filled in with solid black ink.
When it came to his favorite tattoos, he said: “I would say my eyeballs are inked on my arm, although I really like mine sclerally stained, which is a more dangerous surgical procedure.
“Even my skulls on my upper left arm, because underneath we’re all the same, no matter what we look like.”

In total, he spent 720 hours at the chair.
