IVANA KNOLL, who became famous as the “hottest fan” of the World Cup, left Qatar in tears.

The Croatian superfan could be seen at all matches during the tournament.

In a video uploaded to her Instagram story, she wore a Croatian shirt and appeared visibly upset while at Doha International Airport.

Ivana accompanied the video with the message: “Leaving Doha is so hard for me.

“Mixed happiness, sadness and confusion all together, will miss this place so much”.

Ivana caught the world’s attention with her unique way of showing her love for the national team.

And many of her fans praised her performances during the World Cup.

One wrote: “You came to Qatar as a model and left an international superstar”.

A second commented: “Thank you Ivana for representing our beautiful country with love and pride.”

A third added: “You are the best Croatian I have ever seen.”

However, she was unable to see her team in the final as they were eliminated by eventual winners Argentina.

Despite Qatar’s rules of modesty, she wore bras, plaid dresses and tight leggings in stadiums, leaving her fans little in the way of imagination.

As Croatia’s number one fan, she’s never been afraid of local police claiming her dress sense doesn’t hurt anyone.

She has seen her social media grow by millions during the World Cup, she now has 3.4 million followers on Instagram.

The red and white costumes became popular with the paparazzi and other supporters when she posed for selfies with them.
