THE world continued to pay tribute to the Queen as leaders congratulated her son on joining.

In Australia, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said the country was mourning a “huge loss” at a wreath-laying ceremony by dignitaries in Canberra.

In Berlin, the Brandenburg Gate was illuminated in the colors of the Union Jack. And the Queen was on billboards in Las Vegas.

Meanwhile, King Felipe VI wrote. from Spain to Karl “with the living memory of your beloved mother who is still in our hearts and minds” and assured him “of our affection and deep friendship”.

The spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, told the new king: “I am confident that you will meet this great responsibility with kindness and affection and dedicate yourself to serving others.”

“Having the honor of counting Her Majesty as a dear and respected friend, it is my pleasure to see you proclaimed King of the United Kingdom.

“I wish you every success in tackling whatever challenges lie ahead to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of the British people and help create a more peaceful world.”

Warmonger Vladimir Putin also wished the new king all the best.

In a statement released by the Russian Embassy on Twitter, he wrote: “Please accept my sincere congratulations on your accession to the throne.

“I wish Your Majesty every success, good health and all the best.”
