‘The Witcher’ tops the Nielsen streaming charts for the week of December 13

With the release of the second season, Netflix’s The Witcher topped Nielsen’s US charts of streaming originals for the week of December 13.

All said, The Witcher that week accumulated 2.2 billion minutes of viewing out of a total of 16 episodes; TVLine readers gave Season 2 an average score of “A-.”

Coming in at number two in Nielsen’s latest streaming original movies is Disney+ by Hawk Eye (cumulative 580 million minutes over five qualifying episodes), followed by last week’s champion, of Netflix Lost in space (569 million minutes), Prime Video’s Wheel of time (467 million minutes in seven available episodes), and Great British baking show.

Rounding out the Top 10 for the week of December 16 are five Netflix productions: Selling Tampa, Money Thief, Flow Queen, Jurassic Camp in the Cretaceous World and something called Twentysomethings: Austin.

Fall outside of the Top 10 this time are Numbers 8-10 from last week: Selling sunset, true story and Cowboy Bebop.
