Longtime presenter Pat Sajak, 76, introduced Charles as did all the attendees, revealing the older attendee used to be in the Air Force.

Charles confirmed this and clarified that he was in fact a “retired Air Force navigator”.

Pat shared more about Charles and revealed that he was also a coin collector.

Charles explained, adding that he enjoys collecting coins “from different countries”.

But when he gives them away, his “wife gets angry”.

Things took a sharp turn when Pat asked Alexandra what the two had done to celebrate Charles’ 70th birthday.

Alexandra excitedly revealed that she and her grandfather had done a skydive.

“We literally jumped out of a working plane,” Alexandra told Pat.

“Why? [you ask] For fun.”

Charles joked that he thought Alexandra took him on the extreme outing because she was trying to kill him.

Jokingly, Alexandra replied: “No! I wasn’t trying to get your inheritance.

When Pat broke up the family affair, he replied, “You two take care of this on your own time, we have to move on here.”

The pair went into the bonus round but failed to solve the “use of office jargon” phrase, thereby missing out on $40,000.
