Pat, 76, reached out to Brett, an actor from San Deigo, California, during the interview portion with Wheel of Fortune.
He revealed his mother is a Pulitzer Prize-winning author who wrote a Jeopardy! Note and then made Pat aware of his love for reptiles.
“You keep reptiles? That’s the only unusual thing about you,” Pat prompted curtly from his cue cards.
“I have 14,” Brett replied.

’14 REPTILES!?’
“Before I became an actor I studied reptiles and amphibians, then I changed career paths but kept the hobby, so I have 14 in my bedroom.”

“I’m a weirdo pat,” Brett added.
“Well, that sure saves me the trouble!” Pat shaded, implying that Brett had shaped what the host was thinking for himself.

One fan raged on Twitter, writing: “Guy on Wheel of Fortune has 14 snakes/reptiles. Absolute psychopathic behavior.”
“‘I’m a maniac, Pat.’ he got that right!” another Twitter user knocked who couldn’t believe it.
Another contestant, David, then slid into the bonus puzzle round with the highest score.
With just a few letters, he managed an impressive resolution of “Wild Orchidee” – and won a Mercedes-Benz.
Vanna White, 65, rushed in as he celebrated a huge $73,000 payday.
“Damn, enjoy the nice ride!! Enjoy all your winnings David… Keep it up!!” Another fan applauded.
PAT TURNS LEFT
Pat has had a whole week with the show’s casts’ always eccentric contestants, with whom he often just doesn’t get along in terms of personality.
Earlier this week, he challenged New Jersey-based contestant Antonio: “You’ve got a pretty deep voice.
“But I’ve been told I can do a high voice.”
“And what the hell Antonio! This is your shot at fame – do it,” Pat pleaded.
Antonio did just that; he sang in falsetto: “Pat, Vanna” vampirized in an extremely high register.
Pat just stared at the screen – there was laughter from the crowd and then total silence as Pat didn’t look like he was enjoying it.
“Did I mention Antonio is a dental hygienist? Uh, good job everyone,” the host awkwardly mixed things up.
The night before, actress and gospel singer Mateena called the host “Baby.”
Pat asked all the interests of the player: “What are you best at?”
She quickly replied, “I’m good at everything baby,” which got the audience laughing as a shocked Pat stood awkwardly in silence.
After a long pause and a few looks at the calming audience, Pat announced, “She called me ‘Baby’.”
