Guess who will play the lead role? lol Girl’Queen B, Leighton Meester! This will be Meester’s first major film role in three years, and we’re thrilled it’s a horror movie. She will take on the role of Beth.

According to the report of IMDb, Christina Wolfe, Luke Norris, Amar Bukvic, and Ziad Bakri star alongside Meester. Wolfe will play Kate and Bukvic as Pavic. It is unclear which character Bakri will play.

Summary of The Weekend Away

The thriller follows two best friends, Beth and Kate, planning a weekend getaway to Croatia to escape the hassles of their daily lives. But things take a turn for the worse when Kate dies.
