The Waffle House Has A New Host meme is becoming a viral social media trend

Netizens have expressed their frustration as the Waffle House Has A New Host meme has become the latest meme to take over the comments section on TikTok, Twitter, Instagram and more.

Social media users are quick to jump on a trend and the waffle house is the latest to go viral across all social media platforms.

While some have understood its origins, some are still confused. Luckily we have all the details for you!

Explained the origin of The Waffle House Has a New Host

It all started when YouTuber Johnny RaZeR shared a video explaining the trend. In it, he said the idea behind the phrase was to fill up the entire comments section on social media.

He said: “It’s a phrase that will haunt me for the rest of my life. By explaining it to you, you are now part of the part and you are being recruited to join the fight.”

It was originally intended to target YouTube. However, it slowly became a meme of its own as people started sharing the same thing on other platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and more.

It’s similar to TikTok’s Croissant Army

News of the Waffle House comments comes weeks after TikTok’s Croissant comment took over the platform.

It all started when user @thesleepyparamedic posted a video about Operation Crumb Blast. In the video, he urges people to comment on every video they come across on their “For You” page with a croissant emoji.

He says: “Every video today, regardless of content or creator, needs its own croissant. Let’s toss the masses in croissants and sow confusion and watch humanity unfold before our eyes.”

Soon people started flooding the comments section with croissant emojis.

There was also ‘Story Time’ and ‘Crop’

Long before that, people were obsessed with “Story Time” and “Crop” because all the comment sections were filled with those statements.

At the moment it is unclear who started this trend. However, it wasn’t long before others jumped on it and popularized it.
