The Voice fans are “sobbing” over Gwen Stefani’s sweet message to husband Blake Shelton for his last episode ever

GWEN Stefani has left The Voice fans in tears with her sweet message to her husband Blake Shelton on his final episode of the show.

The Hollaback singer got emotional when she declared that Blake was her “soulmate” in a tribute video that aired during Tuesday’s finale.

Blake announced in October 2022 that season 23 of The Voice would be his last, making Tuesday night’s finale his final episode.

Gwen said in a video shown during the episode, “Who would have thought that this Orange County girl and this Oklahoma countryman would find themselves on the set of The Voice?”

The clip featured footage of Gwen and Blake joking and hugging during their first season together on the show.

“When I first appeared on the show, our lives experienced this parallel destruction,” she said, referring to their separate divorces that were occurring at the time.

Gwen continued, “Then next thing, Blake and I will start to become best friends and fall in love.”

Gwen and Blake began dating in 2015 after meeting on The Voice and tied the knot in 2021.

The video featured montages of the couple hugging, kissing and getting married.

Gwen broke down in tears as she contemplated finding her “soulmate.”

She said, “I have a hard time even talking about it without getting overly emotional.”

The ‘No Doubt’ star concluded, “The Voice will carry on, but Blake’s legacy will live forever.”

Fans flooded the comments to praise the heartwarming tribute, with one writing: “Okay I’m sobbing my eyes out.”

Another added: “Ok I cried my eyes out. great show Blake, you are greatly missed, all the best to you and Gwen.”

A third posted: “Awww I’m not crying you’re crying!”

The clip aired during the finale and when it was over the cameras turned to Blake.

The singer beamed and told host Carson Daly that the couple “still can’t believe” they met on The Voice.

“At least once a week we stop and ask ourselves, ‘Can you believe this happened?'” he said.

“It was the greatest thing that has ever happened to me in my life.”

Later in the show, Gwen reappeared on screen to reveal a special gift that was brought to her and Blake’s Los Angeles home.

She showed off the iconic red judge’s chair from The Voice studio, which Blake had previously requested as a parting gift.

“Are you kidding me?” he asked Carson.

“Oh my god I love this. I finally gained something for myself on this show.”

Blake has appeared as a trainer alongside Kelly Clarkson, Niall Horan and Chance the Rapper in the current 23rd season.

Gwen will be returning to The Voice for the seventh year this fall, alongside returning trainers Niall and John Legend, and newcomer Reba McEntire.

Blake announced late last year that he was leaving the show to have more time with his family.

Taking to Instagram, he wrote, “I’ve been struggling with this for a while and have decided it’s time for me to retire after the next season of The Voice.”

“This show has changed my life for the better in every way and will always feel like home to me.”

“It’s been an incredible ride in these 12 chair-changing years and I want to thank everyone at NBC’s The Voice, all the producers, the writers, the musicians, the crew and the catering guys, you’re the best.”

FAMILY TIME

Gwen later clarified that he wanted to make his family more of a priority.

“I think he just wants more time,” she said Extra.

She added: “It’s a lot of time away from family. With things like that, he’s just got to a point where he just wants time on his ranch, time to do the other things he loves to do.”

Blake is close to Gwen’s three children – Kingston, 15, Zuma, 14, and Apollo, 9, with her ex Gavin Rossdale.
