The Voice 2023 LIVE – Reba McEntire joins the judges in the first round of Blind Auditions on the Season 24 premiere tonight

Fans thought the show was “rigged” last season
Last season, Gina Miles from Nial Horan’s team won over Grace West and NOVIAS from Team Blake, Sorelle from Team Chance and D.Smooth from Team Kelly.
However, on Reddit, many critics were surprised by the result and suspected the show was rigged, as one person slammed: “The only reason Gina won the vote was because people like Niall and obviously voted for her because she like him, this show is so manipulated.
“So sad that Blake didn’t win in his final season, Grace or Novais would have deserved it so much more.”
Another wrote: “Well my first two ended up in the top two. However, I think it should have been flipped if it had been based on voice.”
“Huh, I thought since it was Blake’s last season they would have just given him the win,” a third added.
One final fan gushed: “Well this just confirmed that The Voice is definitely RIGGED. Isn’t it possible for Gina to beat D Smooth or Sorelle…let alone Noivas in 5th place?”
“The most boring two were literally the first and the second? Boooo!”
Gwen expected Reba to “adjust.”
Gwen Stefani is reportedly not thrilled with the arrival of 68-year-old newcomer Reba McEntire, who has followed in Blake’s footsteps as a full-time coach.
A source close to the No Doubt singer claimed this RadarOnline: “Gwen is after Reba.”
They added that Gwen expected Reba to join her.
The insider claimed: “Blake has been the king of trainers since the start of the show, and Gwen saw his departure as a chance to really shine and take the reins.”
Blake Shelton left the company after 23 seasons
Blake Shelton was one of the series’ first coaches, but after 23 seasons he decided to leave the series.
“I have been struggling with this for some time and have decided that it is time for me to step away from The Voice after the next season,” Shelton said in an October 2022 Instagram announcement.
“It’s been an incredible ride these 12 years of chair changes and I want to thank everyone at NBC’s The Voice, all the producers, the writers, musicians, crew and catering people, you are the best.”
“I have to give a big shout out to the singers – the ‘Voices’ who come to this stage season after season and amaze us with their talent, and a special thank you to those who chose me as their coach.”
“Ultimately it’s about all of you, the fans who watch and support these artists, us coaches and everyone at The Voice who chase our dreams. Without you this wouldn’t be possible!”
Niall Horan returns as champion
After weeks of competition, five artists from Team Niall, Team Blake, Team Chance and Team Kelly took part in the 23rd season of The Voice.
In the end, Gina Miles was the last performer standing on stage.
In addition to winning the title, Miles also receives $100,000 and a record deal with Universal Music Group.
Niall won in his first ever season as coach – and he will be looking to take home the win again this season.
Reba served as a mega-mentor last season
Reba McEntire will make her debut in season 24 after serving as a mega-mentor in season 23.
“It’s so much fun to be back on The Voice,” McEntire said during an interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show via NBC.
“It’s always fun to give advice because I watch people when they perform and I want to be touched when they sing to me.”
