The View’s Whoopi Goldberg hints at big changes to the talk show, urging ‘Don’t move your TV!’ to fans

THE View’s Whoopi Goldberg has appeared as a presenter on a Friday while Joy Behar was absent, leaving fans confused.
Opening Friday’s episode, Whoopi said, “Don’t move your TV!”
The beloved presenter was there despite her usual schedule and the audience was shocked.
Whoopi doesn’t usually appear on The View on Fridays.
In this episode, however, she sat in her usual seat as a presenter.
Co-host Joy Behar was also absent.

“It’s Friday and I AM here,” Whoopi announced to cheering fans.
“Joy is bad. But I’m here!” she said, shrugging.
Then she went into the topics of the day.
The fact that Whoopi had shown up confused fans.

They took to social media and expressed their surprise.
“Why is Whoopi there?” one wrote. “It is Friday?!”
Some viewers have wondered if the show is actually live when it airs throughout the week.
Since Joy wasn’t in the picture and the episode was pre-taped, this shake up was particularly confusing.
There was also no real attempt at clarification as fans wondered what was going on.
Done playing
Meanwhile, Whoopi resurfaced on social media to rant about a recent event that made her “really pissed off.”
The View host surprised her fans with a new online video in which she expressed her love for video games and her anger at a key element of a popular new game she just bought.
On Wednesday, Whoopi, who doesn’t post much on social media, went live from her dressing room on Instagram to complain about the latest installment in the popular Diablo franchise.
In the video, which was later shared on her feed as well, she complained that Diablo IV (aka Diablo 4) was not compatible with her Apple computer.
She began by admitting that there are “a lot of terrible things going on in the world right now” and that her current problem is “not on that scale”.
Whoopi continued, “I’m ranting about my favorite game, Diablo. Which was removed by Apple. I use Apple computers which I’ve always played Diablo with.
“…And suddenly Diablo 4 is no longer available on my Apple computer. And I already bought Diablo 4.”
The moderator then sent a direct request to Blizzard Entertainment, the company behind the game.
“Blizzard Entertainment, this is Whoopi,” she said. “You know how much I love Diablo. I want you to let those of us who use our apples play.”
The actress begged the company to change the compatibility issue for Diablo IV, and then when they “make the next launch” they could explain to everyone that it’s not for Mac users.
Whoopi added that she was “so excited” to play the game and was ultimately “really pissed” when she realized she wasn’t able to do so on her operating system.
To any fans who aren’t playing the game and don’t understand why she’s so upset, she warned, “Don’t spend time telling me how stupid it is that I’m talking about this.”
“It’s the little things that irk me madly,” she added.
The US Sun has reached out to Blizzard Entertainment for comment.
One follower insisted in the comments, “Let Whoopi play her game!”
Another joked, referencing one of Whoopi’s iconic Ghost quotes: “Blizzard, you’re in danger girl…”
A third told the host: “You stand your ground girl! Everyone has the right to scold.”
One shocked fan commented, “Oh my god you’re playing Diablo! Seriously?”
A second gushed: “Whoopi you just made my TAG! I heard that one of my favorite people on this earth loves Diablo.”

Just the day before, Whoopi had launched another tirade, narrowly avoiding an NSFW blunder as co-host of The View.
The TV personality nearly sweared on the live show while expressing her annoyance at Vanderpump Rules’ Tom Sandavol over an ignorant remark he made on the show reality show.
During guest Lala Kent’s conversation with the TV presenters, View host Alyssa Farah Griffin, 33, quizzed her about the offensive claim made by the reality star’s co-star Tom, 39.
“I hate bringing this up because it’s so dirty, but I want to give you a chance to respond,” Alyssa began.
“Tom Sandavol said something at the end [the] In the last episode I basically accused you of pulling out your IUD and getting pregnant with your current child because another former performer was pregnant and you were basically vying for the spotlight.
Before Lala could respond, Whoopi, 67, jumped in to lecture Tom.

“Doesn’t he know how an IUD works?” she asked with a questioning look on her face.
“Tom, baby. You can’t figure this out on your own. You need – what the –” Whoopi stuttered while scolding Tom for his stupid comment.
