The View’s Whoopi Goldberg gushes over a high-profile guest as she “freaks out” mid-interview in a rare candid moment.

THE View host Whoopi Goldberg lost his composure after an Apple TV+ star stopped by on the morning show.
When Ted Lasso star Nick Mohammed appeared for an interview on The View, Whoopi was beside himself.
The ABC audience in the studio was just as excited during Thursday’s show as were View’s co-hosts for Nick.
However, compared to her co-stars Sara Haines, 45, Joy Behar, 80, Sunny Hostin, 54, and Alyssa Farah Griffin, 33, Whoopi, 67, seemed most smitten with Nick, 42.
Immediately after Nick sat down at the round table, he thanked the View crew for having him on their show.
Sara admitted it was “so nice” to have him on the talk show because the hosts are “huge Ted Lasso fans.”

When Sara said that, the legendary comedienne shook her hands excitedly and let out an emphatic cheer, followed by a big smile as she interrupted Sara.
Whoopi quickly apologized for her outburst, adding that she would pull herself together.
Before letting Sara continue, she told Nick that he was “so fabulous”.
“Love you in this role, great,” Whoopi said, praising Nick for portraying his Ted Lasso character, Nathan Shelley.

Oops, there it is
It’s rare that The View’s EGOT winner goes all out.
Most of the time, she tries to keep a cool head, even if that means staying silent.
Late last month, Whoopi walked away from another conversation on the morning show.
She introduced the panelists to a topic about a woman who spied on her dishonest husband.
The award-winning actress read from her notecard a confession from a woman on Reddit that she found out her husband was stealing her food.
Whoopi revealed the unnamed woman was upset after her husband repeatedly lied about stealing garlic bread “off her plate.”
The TV personality continued, adding that the woman asked people on Reddit if she was wrong in using the couple’s nanny cam footage to “arrest him.”
And show him he was a liar.
After telling the story, the ABC host opened up to her co-hosts Sunny, Ana Navarro, 51, Sara and Alyssa to share their thoughts.
Sunny agreed with the anonymous woman, admitting she “did the right thing.”
Sara was also on Sunny’s side alongside Alyssa.
Towards the end of the segment, the round table fell silent for a brief moment.
Whoopi, who had been silent the entire time, made a quick contribution just before the commercial break.
“You four [Alyssa, Ana, Sunny, and Sara] are married; “I have nothing to do with this conversation,” she said frankly.
ABOUT IT
It is well known that the cultural critic is often bored on the air.
Fans spoke out in March after Whoopi seemed disinterested in a hot topic.
The host audibly expressed her relief when she was finally able to put the show on a commercial break.
Whoopi appeared to be checked out the beginning of the segment.
She and her co-hosts Joy, Alyssa, Sunny and Sara were assigned to discuss and debate the topic of “Are you secretly snooping on an ex via social media?”
But from the start, an angry Whoopi seemed to express that the subject wasn’t her choice.
“You want me to ask you, did that happen to you?” she said, emphasizing that the order was given to her.
While the other ladies on The View crew exchanged personal stories of former lovers and drifted off topic, Whoopi sat silently at the table, arms folded across his chest.

She seemed to roll her eyes as the discussion dragged on, never voicing her own opinion or story.
Whoopi looked relieved as the segment neared the end and could be heard saying “Oh thank goodness”.
