The View’s Joy Behar says, “It’s not all about you!” to Sara Haines in wild on-air moment

THE VIEW’s Joy Behar slammed co-host Sara Haines, exclaiming, “It’s not all about you!” in Wednesday’s episode.

In the middle of the show, the presenters of The View took time for a personal conversation.

Joy Behar asked Whoopi Goldberg about the sweatshirt she was wearing that had a large “1977” written on it in white.

She asked, “What happened in 1977?”

“Me,” Sara Haines joked, leaning over to Whoopi with a huge grin on her face.

“Is that the year you were born?” another host asked offscreen as Sara approached Whoopi and laid on her arm.

“It is, and I said I’ll pretend you put it on me,” Sara said, joking to Whoopi.

Joy slammed Sara afterwards, saying, “It’s not all about you.”

“It is!” Sara shot back before the two burst out laughing.

Whoopi explained that the sweatshirt was actually a Christmas present from her granddaughter.

“I wore it because a lot of us were there in 1977,” Whoopi joked.

Fans joined in with comments after the episode aired.

“It’s not all about you Sara #theview,” one wrote.

Another tweeted: “Lol Joy bites Sara’s head off.”

During the episode, there seemed to be no ill will towards Joy and Sara.

Meanwhile, fans mocked Joy for her “incredibly rude” behavior during Tuesday’s show.

The host apparently slept during Whoopi’s outro while the other hosts remained solemn.

As The View came back from the final commercial break of the day, Whoopi thanked fans for watching.

“Welcome back. Before we go, we wanted to take a moment to pay our respects to yesterday’s fatal shootings in California and Illinois,” she said.

“You know there have been 39 mass shootings in the first month of 2023 and obviously and unfortunately it’s not going away and it’s one that we’re going to address again.”

Joy, 80, was heard saying, “God.”

Whoopi, 67, continued: “We’re glad you watched us. We are glad you came to us. We want you to have a great day, to take a little time to enjoy the view and to really take the time to enjoy the view.

“And see you tomorrow.”

The presenter had a sad expression on her face as the camera panned out.

When the camera caught all the hosts, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines had sad expressions on their faces and clapped their hands in celebration.

JOY’S RULES

Earlier this week, Joy banned her co-hosts from speaking about a specific show.

Joy, 80, hosts The View along with Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin.

The Bachelorette’s Rachel Lindsay was a guest on Thursday, January 19th and Friday, January 20th.

A source at the recording exclusively told The US Sun. Alyssa, 33, said during a commercial break that she was “fan-girling” about Rachel because she’s a big fan of the ABC franchise.

When the crowd warmer asked Alyssa for her thoughts on Rachel becoming a host, the insider claimed she said, “I’m so excited to have her here!

“Sara and I always try to talk about The Bachelor, but Joy won’t let us! She doesn’t like the show.”

The new season of The Bachelor premiered Monday, January 23, starring Zach Shallcross.
