The reality star shared photos of her outfit on Instagram, saying the lion was “fake” and “art.”

“Beauty and the Beast. Thank you @danielroseberry and @schiaparelli for such a special morning,” she captioned a photo of the dress. “Wow I loved wearing this man made art creation made by hand from man made materials. beautiful, beautiful.”

But many fans didn’t think it was quite so nice, several slammed her outfit as “cruel” and “twisted”.

“I know it’s a fake lion head but it’s irritating,” one person commented in a Reddit chat room.

“That made me so sad. It makes cruel animal haters,” added another person. “It’s a bit cruel to wear a lion’s head like a trophy.”

While a third said: “There is taxidermy reality.

ANAS ACCIDENTS

But while Ana may be one of the most high-profile haters, the hostess also had her share of fashion faux pas.

Just last week, she admitted a mix-up with her earrings that made it airborne.

“So, Fran Taylor, the styling guru here at The View, says I wore the earrings wrong…” the presenter told her followers backstage.

She then tucked her dark hair behind her ears to showcase the gold earrings – one meant to look like the letter N and the other like an A.

“She showed me this one and she said they were from (the Netflix series) Emily and Paris and I was like, ‘Oh, the Eiffel Tower,’ but no, it’s an A,” Ana joked of her confusion, while pointing to the camera on the earring on her left ear.

“And that’s an N,” the 51-year-old explained the other earring on her right ear.

She then admitted her mistake and hilariously mocked her own mistake of wearing the earrings out of order.

“But thanks anyway, Fran. They are cool.”
