The Victor Wembanyama mystery finally ended when the San Antonio Spurs announced his official post-NBA draft height

AFTER months of puzzles, Victor Wembanyama’s official height has finally been revealed.
According to the San Antonio Spurs, the No. 1 NBA draft pick stands seven feet and three-and-a-half inches barefoot.
The French phenomenon has been performed in varying heights ranging from 2.10 to 2.10 meters ahead of his much-anticipated arrival in the NBA.
The NBA itself listed him in their guide to the draft at Barclays Center in New York as 5’9″.
He wasn’t at the draft combine in May as he was still running for the French team Mets 92, meaning there hasn’t been an official measurement from the NBA yet.
Incredibly, Wemby is half an inch taller than he said in October while he was in Las Vegas for two friendlies.

This seems to indicate that the center’s massive frame has grown since the ages of 18 and 19.
Wembanyama’s official height now makes him the second tallest player in the NBA behind the 1.90m Boban Marjanovic and ahead of the 2.10m Kristaps Porzingis.
During a recent dinner with the Spurs legends, Wemby showed just how tall he was as he towered over the 2.15m David Robinson and 1.80m Tim Duncan.
Wembanyama will soon prove his skills for the Spurs in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.
Meanwhile, Wembanyama will reportedly have a chance to redeem himself after he botched the celebratory first throw at a recent New York Yankees game.
The San Antonio Missions, the San Diego Padres’ Double-A-Minor league affiliate, are believed to have invited Wemby to pitch a ball ahead of one of their upcoming games.
