The supercomputer Madden 24 predicts who will be named NFL MVP – and there is a surprise Super Bowl winner

A football video game simulated the 2023-24 NFL season — and made some shocking predictions.
Madden NFL 24 is the latest version of the classic NFL video game known for its outlandish predictions and bizarrely accurate predictions.
For the sixth time in a row Yahoo Sports ran a simulation projecting the NFL season.
Some crazy and somewhat possible predictions have been made.
Two of the most important predictions – NFL MVP and the Super Bowl – couldn’t be more different.
The simulation started somewhat predictably, assuming Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes would win MVP again.

If the predictions come true, the five-time Pro Bowler will receive his third MVP award.
In the simulation, Mahomes led the league with 4,541 passing yards and 41 touchdowns and was tied with Madden NFL 24 cover star Josh Allen with just three interceptions.
Considering the two-time champion threw an interception in his first game against the Detroit Lions, he only has to throw two picks the rest of the season.
Amazingly, Madden predicted the Chiefs would miss the playoffs.

The defending Super Bowl champions looked vulnerable during their Week 1 loss to the Lions.
Mahomes told Fox News after the first week’s loss: “I think when you’ve had so much success, people are kind of waiting for you to go down.”
“As a team we know that and I just say it’s a defeat but you don’t want them to get any worse. So you go out and get better on the football field, and all those things kind of disappear.”
The video game also predicted the Dallas Cowboys’ return to the Super Bowl for the big game.
Quarterback Dak Prescott is even expected to lead a game-winning drive for the American team.
If the Cowboys actually win the Super Bowl, it would be their first since 1995.
The last time Dallas reached the NFC Championship was in 1996.
The Cowboys started their season with a 40-0 win over the New York Giants.
We will have to wait the entire season to see whether these predictions come true.
