The Serving Met police officer investigated allegations that he made sexual advances to the bar manager on duty

A POLICE officer is under investigation over allegations that he abused his position by making sexual advances to a bar manager during a license check.
Investigators are looking at CCTV footage to see if Sergeant Adam Berry approached the woman.
He was given limited duties.
The alleged misconduct last year came just weeks after one of his Met colleagues, Wayne Couzensmurdered Sarah Everard.
It is alleged that Sgt. Berry met with the manager to discuss concerns that the bar had become a meeting place for gang members.
He then approached her at another location in south-east London during his free time and is said to have been filmed on CCTV putting his hand behind her head to try to kiss her.
A Met spokesman confirmed action had been taken, saying: “The officer has been assigned limited duties.
“A referral has been made to the Independent Bureau of Police Conduct and we are awaiting their assessment on how to proceed with the matter.”
An IOPC spokesman said: “Following a thorough assessment of a conduct reference by the Metropolitan Police Service in relation to this incident, we have determined that it is appropriate for an investigation to be conducted by the force on the ground.”
Sgt. Berry is understood to have denied any wrongdoing.
Couzens, 48, received a life sentence for the Kidnapping, rape and murder of 33-year-old Sarah.
He faked an arrest of the marketing director as she walked home in Clapham Common, south London, in March 2021.
