Johnson is rumored to be making an incredible return to the ring at next year’s WrestleMania 39 to face the undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
Reigns vs The Rock is a match fans have dreamed of for years and both have never ruled out the possibility.
The two have teased a possible clash at LA’s SoFi Stadium for the past two years, with Reigns claiming in 2021 it “makes sense” for him to fight his cousin in Hollywood.
Johnson left wrestling to pursue a career on screen, where he has since gone on to become one of the most recognized and lucrative actors in the world.

Now reports are suggesting that Johnson vs. Reigns could be the biggest game of 2023.
Speaking to Comic Book in 2021, Johnson wanted to rule out an extended return to the ring but teased a one-off match if it “made sense.”
He said: “I don’t know if I’ve got another title run considering I’m the people’s champion, but I don’t know if it’s another title run.
“I think potentially, you know, there could be another match [for me] down the street.
“It should make sense.”
Johnson is a big fan of Reigns, who is Johnson’s second cousin on his father’s side.
The Rock continued, “It seems like Roman, you know, I’m obviously very close to Roman and we talk about it all the time, and I continue to encourage him to keep doing your thing and keep honing those skills.
“I find [Reigns] does a great job with his promo, his execution, his work in the ring. Everything keeps getting better and growing.
“And that’s always the best thing about this world of pro wrestling, when someone gets anointed and gets the ball going, either they get a touchdown with it or they don’t.
“But then some not only score a touchdown with it, they start to change the way the game is played.
“And in Roman’s case, he’s doing it slowly.”

Meanwhile, UFC star Nate Diaz, 37, has left the UFC after the last fight on his contract and called out Johnson for a WWE showdown.
Diaz last fought at the 170lb welterweight of 12st 1lb while The Rock normally weighs 19st 2lb, a massive FIVE STONES Difference.
