It was officially announced on Saturday that Camilla will be honored with the title when Charles becomes King.

The Queen released a historic statement last night to confirm that she wants the Duchess fully acknowledged when her eldest son ascended the throne.

The Clarences and palace officials began planning an overhaul for Charles’ coronation several years ago.

The source said those plans include Camilla taking the throne as Queen of Consort.

The event will be sealed with an incredible tiara, featuring 2,800 diamonds and a large stone presented to Queen Victoria in 1856 by the Sultan of Turkey.

The front cross contains a 105 carat Koh-i-Noor diamond.

Charles yesterday released a statement expressing his gratitude.
