However, they warned the restaurant could close earlier depending on stock levels, according to local radio station KKAM.

In a Facebook post seen by KKAM, the store’s owner said, “It is sad to decide and announce that we are permanently closing until the end of March or until supplies run out.”

Customers can purchase equipment or contact the owner if they would like to rent the building.

Pizza fans have taken to social media to lament the decision to close the restaurant.

One diner known as Anthony wrote online: “I will definitely miss this place. Your hospitality and customer service has always been top notch. The food was always delicious with quality ingredients.”

The pizza chain — a rival to Papa John’s — has five other locations in Texas.

It is also present in Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota and Tennessee.

According to its website, there are 16 1000 Degrees branches that trade in the United States.

The upcoming closure comes just a month after a 1000 Degrees branch ceased trading in Indiana, according to local branch KZZI-FM.

But 1000 Degrees isn’t the only restaurant chain to have had to close branches recently.

Cracker Barrel has announced that its last two locations in Portland, Oregon closed their doors for the last time on March 20th.

The Bend restaurant has also been closed permanently, affecting around 30 employees.

CLOSING RESTAURANTS

Cracker Barrel cited the pandemic as the reason for the closures, according to a statement from local NBC affiliate KGW8.

A spokesman said: “As a standard business, we continually assess the performance of our stores using various criteria to ensure we are meeting the needs of our guests and our business.

“As such, we are saddened that we have not been able to overcome the impact of the pandemic on our business and have made the difficult decision to close the Beaverton, Tualatin and Bend locations.”

Earlier this month, Red Lobster closed one of its restaurants in San Jose, California after 39 years of trading, according to The Mercury News.

The closure comes amid reports that the popular chain lost more than $15 million in the third quarter of 2022.

In January, chefs decided to close a Red Lobster restaurant in Beachwood, Ohio.

The restaurant has served Americans for more than 45 years but reportedly underperformed compared to other branches.

Last December, a Red Lobster location in San Angelo, Texas closed after 38 years in business.
