PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Although the Penguins are getting better, another striker is currently on the bench injured.

The team announced on Sunday that they have placed striker Jake Guentzel on the injured substitute.
Earlier this week, Head Coach Mike Sullivan called Guentzel’s status “week after week”.

In 24 matches, Guentzel scored 15 goals and 27 points for the top team.
The Penguins are currently on a four-game winning streak, racking up wins against Canuckks, Kraken, Capitals and Ducks.
