A PASTA-loving banter could be in hot water after being photographed with a colander on his head.
Harvey Fountain, 27, is a member of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, whose followers are known as Pastafarians.
They wear colanders as official religious headgear.
Harvey said: “I had two pints before I went and had the picture taken because I had so much adrenaline and there was about 20 people in the queue watching me.
“I asked if I could put my spaghetti colander upside down.
“The saleswoman looked very worried and then told me I could be fined if I didn’t wear them while driving – I thought it was a fair trade.
“My fiancee thought it was hilarious, my dad was speechless and my mom doesn’t know yet.”
Harvey, who is originally from Eastbourne, East Sussex but now lives in New Zealand, said: “I like to think people can see the humor in it.
“My friends and family certainly do, and I hope the Pastafari community will embrace it.”
