The unnamed manager vowed not to tolerate excuses for time off from work.

They said workers should “prove” their pet died if that’s the reason for their absence, according to a letter from KCTV.

The boss raged: “Attention ALL team members: Our calls are made with breathtaking frequency.

“If you quit from now on, you might as well go out and find another job.”

They called on employees who only want to work the early shift to change careers.

The manager continued his tirade, raging that “there are no more excuses”.

They claimed they made it to work on time after a car accident, adding that they never took a sick day.

The manager gave the workers an ultimatum, saying, “We as a management team have had enough overall.

“If you don’t want to work here, don’t do it. It’s that simple. If you’re here and you want to work, then work.”

The furious boss added: “Do you think I want to be here by midnight on Friday and Saturday?

“No. I much prefer being at home with my husband and dog, going to the cinema or seeing my family.”

Olive Garden is part of the Darden Restaurants group and a spokesman said the manager in question had been fired.

They said the message was not “aligned” with the company’s values.

The spokesperson emphasized, “We strive to provide a caring and respectful work environment for our team members.”

Meanwhile, The US Sun told how a boss at a vegan bakery in Oregon required employees to clock out for bathroom breaks.

The shocking poster read: “Always clock out when going through this door.

“Among other things: toilet breaks, 10-minute shift breaks, lunch breaks, questions about personal concerns.”

And the frosty boss of the bakery doesn’t seem to have any time for small talk with his colleagues.

According to a former staffer, the message was only sent to women, citing lifestyle choices that help keep them smelling fresh.

And another manager reportedly forced employees to sign a contract that read, “Skills and work ethics are not taboo.”
