The Netflix Star Who Pushed, Abused, and Starved Me, Claims The World’s Greatest Vacation Rental Hosts Luis D Ortiz’s Ex

The EX girlfriend of a Netflix star watched by millions has spoken out about their relationship for the first time – claiming that she suffered horrific physical and emotional abuse at the hands of his boyfriend. he.
Nikita Singh says that Luis D Ortiz – star of The Most Amazing Vacation Rentals – will often throw tantrums when they live together from 2019 to 2020.
But she said he would later tell her that the bad behavior was “all in her head” and that any aggression was “in a joking spirit”.
Nikita – who has daughter Leela, 3, with the TV star and was on unpaid maternity leave at the time – claims Luis also deprived her of food and humiliated her by forcing her to wear tight clothes his dough.
And she told how she even feared for her safety.
Nikita says the abuse got so bad that she eventually had to flee to England with her daughter Leela.
Nikita’s ‘Hell’
And she told The Sun: “I went through hell with Luis. He told me when we moved in together that I was lucky – that anyone would die to be in my place.
“But once I was there – and financially dependent on him – I suddenly started being told things about how I needed to act and behave. He told me I was ungrateful and that he could take anything away.
“I have to take care of him and Leela, and anyone else who comes into the house. But I am degraded and humiliated in every way. If I say something happened, it is wrong – in my head.
“I would go days without food because there were only baby bags in the apartment – but I remember him telling me my hunger was not real. Then everything will start to fly.
“He was physically violent. I can remember one time when he threw me on the floor and my head hit the doorknob.

“After the abuse, he would tell me it didn’t happen – he didn’t remember – and that I was being overly sensitive.
“I was so scared for my life. And I know my family is worried that something will happen, that they will only be told: ‘She failed.’
Luis – whose sparkling social network includes Twitter mogul Jack Dorsey – is famous on America’s Million Dollar Listing New York show and has been named one of New York’s Trendiest People by US Weekly.
And Nikita – who started dating Luis in 2016 but broke up with him after Leela was born in March 2019 – said her nightmare started when he convinced her to move in with him in Puerto. Rico.
MOVE TO
She said: “When I found out I was expecting Leela, Luis and I separated.
“He later said that he wanted to be a part of her life. At the time, I had a good job working for an airline – I was very independent and I was getting ready to be a single mother.
“But he told me if I moved in with him, we could be a family, and he would help me set up my own business. So I agreed. But that was just a lie – a trap to convince me to move in.
“We moved into an isolated apartment in Puerto Rico. He took us out in the middle of nowhere. I had 20 dollars and had to ask him for everything. If I asked about my business, I’d be ‘grateful’.
“There’s never enough food in the house for me and Leela, so I won’t – sometimes for days. My belongings and clothes disappeared and I had to wear Luis’s old clothes instead.
“But when I asked for my property, I was told that I was ‘small-minded’ and overly concerned with material possessions. I was constantly verbally abused and told I wasn’t good enough.
“I remember on my birthday he told me we wouldn’t celebrate because I hadn’t ‘earned’. He told me bluntly: ‘You don’t deserve it’ and added ‘maybe next year’.
HORRIFIC ‘ATTACK’
“On one occasion – in November 2019 – he spat at me and twisted my arm while we were driving in the car and I had a panic attack.
“I used my $20 to take an Uber to the airport. I just can’t cope anymore. But he was able to convince me to come back because he wouldn’t let me marry Leela and I couldn’t leave her.
“Then we moved back to the US, because he was filming for Netflix.
“Luis was using me and Leela at the time to portray an image, and he would say to me: ‘I’m sorry, I’ll do this.’ Then he would tell me that if I left, he would make my life hell in court.
“It was not until a year later, when a pediatrician noticed signs of abuse, that I was offered help and we were finally able to escape from him and fly to England.
“Concern for Leela is my saving grace, because that got me out.”
KIDNAPPING INQUIRY
After she arrived in the UK in December 2020, Nikita – who said she had let Luis know she was leaving the country – was contacted by lawyers, who claimed she had kidnapped her daughter. their.
She was forced to set up the Go Fund Me page – Justice for Nikita and Leela Legal Bills – to pay legal fees while fighting the claims.
At the time, Luis was unavailable for comment.
In June, she wrote on the site: “I am currently fighting for the basic human right to live a normal, settled life with my daughter.
“Out of fear, I have never spoken openly about the level of suffering I have suffered from Luis D Ortiz.
“He made a false allegation of child abduction and now we may be forced to return to the United States. I could be at risk of losing my own child.”
But Luis’ allegations were dismissed last October.
In November, Nikita set up a second Go Fund Me page to raise money for kindergarten tuition, claiming she was “financially exhausted” because of the legal battle.
HELPING OTHERS
She now intends to stay in the UK if her and Leela’s immigration application – filed last April – is approved.
And she says she wants to campaign to help other women who are in a similar position, to make sure that young girls like her daughter don’t fall into the same trap she did.
Nikita, who runs the online platform Life’s Leela, said: “It’s hard to believe this has happened to me. You never thought it would happen to you.
“And now I keep thinking, ‘Oh my gosh, I’ve been through this. How can I prevent my daughter from going through this? What can I do?’
“That is why I am speaking now and why I want to help other women in similar situations.
“It’s easy to normalize behavior that happens in your home and I want to help them spot the red flags in someone’s behavior.
“There are so many different forms of abuse and many people think that if you’re not black and blue, it’s not abuse.

“Thanks to us educating ourselves about what abuse is, we can improve things for the next generation of women.”
Luis had no comment.
