The victims have been identified as Charles Hardy, 42, Caleb Jordan, 23, Javoni Liddell, 31, Donta “Michael” Williams, 44, Michelle Willaims, 49, and Donald Smith, 43.

Reports from the medical examiner’s office showed that three of the six victims, Michelle, Michael and Smith, lived in the same house near 21 and Wright in the city’s Park West neighborhood.

Authorities initially discovered five victims during a home welfare check; however, a sixth victim was found a few hours later.

Milwaukee Police Sergeant Efrain Cornejo said the victims had gunshot wounds.

Cornejo said the police department continues to look for “unidentified suspects.”

Last weekend, Michelle’s family got worried when they didn’t hear from her.

“Am I in a movie? This isn’t real,” said Tiffany Whittington, Michelle’s cousin. Fox, fox6.

“She doesn’t deserve this – in her own home!

POWER OF ‘Overcoming’

“When they got there, they said the smell – the stench – was too strong. Neighbors said they had been smelling it for a few days,” Whittington said.

Michelle was killed along with her husband, Michael.

“She was the nicest person you could meet,” added Whittington.

“She really has the best heart. She’s not on the street or in a gang that could do this harm to her.”

A woman named Ronda told Fox6 that she shares a 15-year-old daughter with Michael.

Ronda said the family was planning to celebrate her daughter’s 16th birthday, but instead, they are in shock at her sudden passing.

“Home comes first, his wife and children. That’s all that matters to him, his children and grandchildren, and he loves them immensely.

“(My daughter) gets emotional. She can’t sleep. She’s constantly crying, and you know, it’s hard for her to absorb it all,” the woman said.

Acting Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson called the incident “horrific.”

“It is important not to feel numb to the violence going on in the community,” he said.

“A terrible crime has happened again and it’s not a movie or a fictional account. These victims died in our city, in one of our neighborhoods. “

Police believe there is no threat to the community as investigations continue.

Investigators are still looking for any suspects involved and the motive behind the murder.
