The 42-year-old academic has been charged by Norfolk County with three counts, including manslaughter by a motor vehicle and leaving the scene in a fatal collision, WCVB reported.

Read was arrested in February on a manslaughter warrant for the death of her late partner, John O’Keefe, but was later released after pleading not guilty and posting $50,000 bail.

A Jan. 29 affidavit says Read, an associate professor at Bentley University, hit O’Keefe in her SUV outside a friend’s house in Canton, where she dropped him off after a night of drinking.

She then drove home and claims she doesn’t remember what happened.

She later became concerned for O’Keefe’s safety when she learned he hadn’t returned from his friend’s house and noticed damage to their SUV.

The 16-year-old veterinarian from the Boston Police Dept was found unresponsive in a snowdrift by Read, who tried to revive him.

“I hit him, I hit him, I hit him, I hit him,” Read reportedly told a paramedic at the scene, according to NBC 10.

O’Keefe was taken to the hospital and died from his injuries.

Cops said at the time O’Keefe was acting as guardian for his niece and nephew after both of their parents died.

Read was arrested again Thursday night at her home in Mansfield after being charged with aggravated charges.

She has pleaded not guilty.

Her defense attorney, who previously described O’Keefe’s death as an accident, suggested that there are “serious reasons to be concerned about the ethics of the police investigation.”

A judge set Read’s new bail at $100,000, which she paid and was released from prison.
