Her family isn’t sure why she disappeared.

Her husband Michael told KHOU-11, “She said she would get something to eat and she never returned.”

Surveillance footage has now reportedly surfaced showing the missing Fairview Junior High School teacher.

She was spotted parking her car in New Orleans just after noon on Friday.

Michael and his brother-in-law were also able to locate their SUV using the geolocation device in the vehicle.

“We were able to unlock the car and found that her personal belongings were still in the vehicle, but she was not in the vehicle,” Michael said.

“Your phone has not been used. Her phone was in the car. Your phone was charged but it was off.”

She was last seen behind the wheel of the Lexus RX 300 with Texas license plate RSV2914.

Brazoria County Police said Reynolds has had no known contact with family friends since she was reported missing.

The search group Texas EquuSearch has meanwhile joined the hunt for the missing mother.

They have gotten their hands on surveillance video which appears to show Reynolds parking her car on St Peters Street at 12.01pm on Friday afternoon

“Saint Peters Street is pretty close to the Mississippi,” Tim Miller of Texas EquuSearch told Houston’s FOX affiliate.

The group launched a helicopter to search for signs of the missing mother.

“We’re probably flying about 20 miles downstream at low altitude,” he said.

“We’ve had a lot of success recovering victims by helicopter.”

“HARD TIME” FOR YOUR CHILDREN

Michael also shared that his children did not process the news of their mother’s disappearance well.

“I’m going back to Houston now because I have three kids,” he said.

“My daughter is having a really hard time, and so are my 13-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son.

“Please keep an eye out for Michelle. We love her and miss her very much. We’re doing everything we can to get her home safely.”

The Alvin Independent School District released a statement Monday acknowledging Reynolds’ disappearance.

“The safety of our students and staff is of the utmost importance to Alvin ISD,” it said.

“We have been made aware that one of our employees, Michelle Reynolds, has not been heard from since Thursday afternoon.

“Alvin ISD has reached out to the Reynolds family and has supported the family through this difficult time.”

Family members of her students and friends have started drawing attention to her disappearance by posting on social media.

“Mrs Reynolds is Marley’s APA writing teacher. Her students are worried about her and want her to be safe in the classroom again,” one mother wrote.

“Please pray with us that she is found safely and share her!”

“Michelle Townsend Reynolds if you can see this post please give someone a call. You have to come home,” another Facebook user posted.
