The moment a giant fire tore through the posh Beaverbrook golf club loved by Harry Kane and Peter Crouch

A LUXURY golf club popular with Premier League players has been consumed by a massive fire.
Huge flames tore through Beaverbrook Golf Club last night, but nothing could be done to save the burning structure in Leatherhead, Surrey.
Spurs star Harry Kane and former England striker Peter Crouch have both been spotted at the luxury club.
Emergency services were called to the club building shortly before 10pm last night after the fire was discovered.
A probe has been launched into what may have ignited the massive fire in the clubhouse.
The task force crew and eight engines from Surrey Fire and Rescue arrived on the scene within minutes, several remaining at the club this morning.
Surrey Police said they were notified as a matter of protocol but were not required to attend.
A source said: “The fire did considerable damage to the clubhouse, but thankfully no one was injured in the incident.
“It doesn’t affect hotels, spas or restaurants so they can open and still operate as usual.”
Surrey Fire and Rescue said: “We received a call at around 10pm last night about a fire at Beaverbrook Golf Club, Reigate Road, Leatherhead.
“A total of eight fire engines have been sent, along with several specialist teams. The first person arrived at the scene at about 10:10 pm.
“A fire broke out, damaging the entire building and its basement. The crew remained on the scene. ”
Surrey Police added: “We were called shortly after 10pm last night following reports of a fire at Beaverbrook Golf Course in Leatherhead.
“This is purely for awareness as this is protocol and does not require officers to attend.”
Jorge de Jesus, Group General Manager, said: “I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Surrey Fire & Rescue Service for their professional response.”
The famous golf course is located on the grounds owned by the late Lord Beaverbrook and is regularly voted in the top 100 clubs in the world.
According to reports, the development of the pitches has cost the area £90 million and the course is a private members-only business.
Lord Maxwell Beaverbrook owned the estate, but it fell into disrepair upon his death – with David Macklay Kidd and eight-time major winner Tom Watson helping to renovate the estate.
The star couple opened the club in 2016, before adding a luxury hotel and restaurant in the countryside the following year – attracting a host of famous faces.
