Geminis are said to be very busy people, and no one is busier in this series than the Mandalorian himself, Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal). At first it was intentional; he needs to be busy to make a living. While the New Republic is trying to establish itself, there is no universal currency accepted across the galaxy. Royal credits aren’t as expendable as they used to be, and this means that Mando needs to take on as much work as possible to keep his ship in the sky.
Then things get super complicated when he meets “the kid”. Sworn to protect the Child and return him to his people, Din is constantly hunted. The Imperials wanted Grogu, and so did a host of other bounty hunters. Plus, he still needs to make a living and repair his ship regularly, so he still takes on odd jobs here and there.
By the end of the second season, he was out of his depth. Several Mandalorians he doesn’t recognize, with beliefs very different from his own, appear and make him question everything he thinks he knows about his people. The combat droid Beskar is ready to kill, and then a legitimate wizard (Luke Skywalker) who continues to expand his mind on the mysteries of the universe. He’s got a lot of work to do, but like a Gemini, he’s very good at getting things done he sets his mind to.
