The Love Island legend looks very different in a childhood snap – can you guess who it is?

ONE of Love Island’s most recognizable faces has shared a childhood snap that might have you scratching your head to figure out who it is.

The star in question took to Instagram to share the sweet throwback snap.

Zara McDermott looked completely different as a fresh-faced five-year-old in the snap she shared in support of Prince William and Kate’s Shaping Us campaign.

She beamed at the camera while holding her hair out of her face with two butterfly barrettes.

Accompanying the adorable snap, Love Island star Zara shared a lengthy caption reflecting on her childhood.

She opened the post by saying, “I was 5 years old in this photo.

“I actually remember this picture being taken! It was 2001; and I had just spent the afternoon chasing around the house with my cousin.

“The only memories I have from ages 0-5 are of being surrounded by my family.”

The reality TV star addressed some of her favorite childhood memories in the lookback post.

Zara added: “One of my fondest memories is of my mum making my own mermaid tail out of old curtains because I was obsessed with the little mermaid!

“I would lay on the ground and twirl around with my tail tucked!”

She further recalled memories of her mother allowing her to stay up an extra five minutes so she could see her father after work before she went to sleep.

Zara revealed that he would often bring her a candy bar home and they would go on a little “treasure hunt” before going to bed.

She wrote: “Sometimes he would bring home a candy bar (usually a crunchie) as a surprise and we would go on a treasure hunt.

“He would hide it somewhere in the house and I would have to find it!”
